This year for Christmas my sister and I thought it would be a great idea to take family photos … of our dogs. We used this pin as inspiration and set out Christmas Eve with a shopping list for our vision:
1. Dog Antlers
2. Santa Hat
3. New Year’s Party Hat
4. Large String Christmas Lights
You wouldn’t think that dog antlers were in high demand but both Petsmart and Petco were sold out. I managed to grab the last pair that Target had in stock. They were a size “small” and most likely meant for a chihuahua. I bought them anyway hoping that by some Christmas miracle they would fit my 2 year old golden retriever mix. Once home, we dressed the dogs in their outfits, got the camera ready,

Louie got mad.
Charlie wouldn’t stay still.
Jake wanted to lay down.
They thought the lights were going to kill them.
Our inspiration was definitely pinned by Cesar Millan:) After 10 minutes the dogs wouldn’t come anywhere near us and we gave up. There’s always next year!

This is so funny! I used to dress my dog up all the time! In the pictures, though, he looked so sad an unhappy haha. Whoever pinned the picture of the two dogs at the top has some really well behaved pets.
